What's Going On With The Scope?

Hidden in this week's City Planning Commission agenda was a curious tidbit on the Scope.  Apparently, there will be a presentation given on the master plan for the Scope facility.

What could this mean?  Are there plans to update the facility?  What does this mean for the Scope Plaza? Will it become food truck-friendly?  Will they make the Scope a larger venue to attract better concerts or dare I say...a professional sports team?  Let your imagination run wild. 

I'll post an update as soon as I get my hands on the presentation or hear anything else.

    I know the Scope underwent extensive renovations a few years ago, but I don't know what else they could do. Doesn't seem to be any room to expand the seating, but maybe the whole situation with the Kings made Norfolk do some thinking...
