Update On New Ghent Restaurants

Over the last six months, there's been a lot of construction with regards to new restaurants coming to Ghent.  Here's a quick rundown on the latest.

Bangkok Garden

Bangkok Garden will be moving to a new location a block down 21st St.  The old building, which housed a bank and barber shop has been renovated into restaurant space on the first floor with apartment space upstairs.
Fire Ninja
Yet another sushi joint will move into the old Bangkok Garden location on 21st St.  Fire Ninja, has a popular Virginia Beach location near Town Center.
Sweet Frog
If you continue east on 21st St., you'll notice that the new Sweet Frog has opened underneath the 201 Twenty-One apartments.  This brings the total number of frozen yogurt stands in Ghent to 127.
Cook Out
The new Cook Out on Monticello Ave. is coming along nicely.  They recently posted "Now Hiring" signs so it's safe to assume it should be opening sometime this summer, barring any hiccups.
Future site of Asian Noodle Bar
Going back all the way towards the west end of 21st St., if looks as if an application is in for an Asian noodle bar to go in the new mixed-use development near Tap House.

Finally, there hasn't been any movement on the site of the new Chick-Fil-A on Monticello Ave.  I'll report something as soon as I hear it.
