Help Paint The Arts District!

Next Friday night and Saturday (April 12-13), Better Block will take over a portion of the proposed Arts District on Granby St., north of Brambleton Ave. and turn the dormant area into a vibrant, bustling neighborhood.  We've partnered with the Norfolk Arts District non-profit and re:vision Norfolk to set up a mini-movement during the event called re:Create.
The purpose of re:Create is to create a stockpile of donated paint and art supplies for local artists to use to paint the Norfolk Arts District.  We've already received donations of old half-filled cans of house paint that have been collecting dust in garages.  We've also received some old wooden picture frames.  We're collecting everything our local artists can possibly use to "recreate" the neighborhood!  So stop by the stand, which will be located in the Zed's Parking lot, to drop off donations, or even just to say "hi."

This is where we'll be posting up.
