Norfolk Amtrak Station Photo Update - 8/26/13

In just a few months the station should be up and running.  Here are some new progress shots.

Some details of the project:

• 3,500 square foot station.
• The building will include ticket counter, a waiting room and bathrooms.
• The platform will be 725 feet long and partially covered with canopies.
• The station, just near Harbor Park, will be looked at as a potential multi-modal station in the future to include rail, light rail, bus, cab, and ferry services.
•  Project cost - $3,000,000.
• Completion Date – Fall 2013.
