Chrysler Museum Of Art Expansion On Track

Inside Business recently provided a nice little update on the massive Chrysler Museum of Art expansion, which began just over a year ago.  The $24 million project will add 10,700 square feet in space to the structure, which dates back to the 1930s.
The Chrysler renovations will create enough gallery space to display contemporary glass art and European and American paintings.  Other additions include more energy-efficient cooling and lighting systems, redesigned internal walkways, and a makeover for the museum’s cafĂ©.

The project is on schedule and within budget and the museum should re-open next April.
