Chick-Fil-A Purchase Of Norfolk Lot Is Official

It looks like Ghent is one step closer to getting its very own Chick-Fil-A.  According to the Pilot, Chick-Fil-A has acquired a small parcel of land just on Monticello Ave. after City Council voted in favor of selling the city-owned land.

There is still work to be done, however, by Chick-Fil-A.  Last month, the Design Review Committee and Planning Commission rejected the original design of the restaurant, saying they wanted more of an urban feel to it.  Chick-Fil-A is currently modifying the plans and is scheduled to reveal them next month.
