New Chick-Fil-A Design Plans For Monticello Available

Back in July, the Norfolk Design Review Committee told Chick-Fil-A it didn't approve of its initial design plans for the Monticello Ave. location in Norfolk.  The committee wanted something more urban-looking.  Well, Chick-Fil-A went back to the drawing boards and this is what they came up with (see version 2).

The new design basically rotates the building so that it is closer to the sidewalk on Monticello making it more pedestrian-friendly, while pushing the parking lot to the rear.  The Design Committee discussed this at its meeting earlier this week.  No word yet on whether it was approved or not.
