80/20 Burger Bar will take the place of the old Boot space off of 21st St. According to it's Facebook page, "80/20 (the proper lean to fat ratio for a burger) Burger Bar will provide grass-fed, organic beef supplied from local (Virginia and North Carolina) farms and presented in an eclectic, well-priced manner." They will also carry a variety of sandwiches, soups and salads that have a southern flavor with the goal of supporting local farmers.
Cook Out will be coming to Monticello Ave., near One Life Fitness and Doumar's. The inexpensive fast-food chain is based out of North Carolina and specializes in food you'd most likely find on a grill...as well as milkshakes. Here's their menu.
Finally, according to AltDaily, the Colley Cantina is changing ownership and will undergo renovations. The new owners also run Cogan's and New Belmont, which are two other Ghent classics. Hopefully, their menu is overhauled as well.
